Tiramisu has a reputation for being a winter dessert — something for after a heavy dinner, alongside dark coffee, in the colder months. We wanted to make a version that works just as well on a warm afternoon, without losing what makes tiramisu, tiramisu.
That is the idea behind our Strawberry Tiramisu.
What Makes It Different
We keep the foundation exactly the same — espresso-soaked savoiardi and silky mascarpone cream, made to the same Italian recipe as our Classic. Layered through it is a fresh strawberry compote, made from real strawberries rather than jam or syrup, which adds brightness and a gentle acidity that lifts the whole dessert. Each portion is finished with pieces of fresh strawberry on top, so you get that fruit note in the very first bite as well as throughout.
The espresso is still present, but it sits further back here — supporting rather than leading. What you notice first is the strawberry and the cream; the coffee shows up a moment later, grounding it.
We wanted something that still felt like tiramisu — not a strawberry dessert with coffee biscuits dropped in. The balance took a few attempts, but when the compote was right, everything else fell into place.

The Occasion for It
This is the tiramisu for people who find the Classic a little heavy, or who want something that feels seasonal rather than wintry. It works well for afternoon gatherings, baby showers, and anyone ordering a mixed dessert box who wants a lighter option alongside our Classic or Pistachio. It is also, simply, a good option if strawberries are someone’s favourite thing and tiramisu is yours — now you do not have to choose.
How to Order
Individual portions are £5.99, and a 12-portion Family Tray is £45.99 — handmade fresh in small batches, the same as the rest of our tiramisu range. Message Gresa on WhatsApp or Instagram to check availability for your date.
Three tiramisu, three moods. This one is for the lighter days.
